The intro of the song is simply amazing; it's a perfect mood-setter. The beats suddenly make it a party song, without which we could have had a wonderful alternative song, but well, the band gets to decide which direction their song leans toward. All I have are my opinions based on my tastes. The chorus has yet another melody to die for. I love the lines in the chorus, whatever may happen, as long as I’m with you, I’ll be fine. I wish the two verses painted a better story rather than a vague memory. I fell in love with the music, I failed to imagine the story behind the lines. My musical soulmate, Plum, however, suggested another possible hypothesis, and it makes much more sense. The song may be about the one experience of jumping off an airplane and what the writers felt in that moment. The writer says even if he dies tonight, it’s fine, he’ll be dying with his loved ones. After going through a few YouTube comments, I figured that the writer is afraid of heights, and wrote the song when he rode a plane. Collecting pieces of information to make sense of the song.
