I’m definitely a ‘Coldplay’ fan, because I absolutely love the songs ‘Proof’, ‘The Hardest Part’, ‘Paradise’, ‘Lost’, and ‘Life in Technicolor’. But, we’re going to talk about ‘Everglow’ a song from the 2016 album ‘A Head Full of Dreams’. The story is sad, it’s yet another love story without a happy ending, but there should be more songs without happy endings, simply because there are just too many broken hearts in the world, who rely solely on songs to get them through the day. The piano interludes are perfect and heart-warming. The lyrics are incredible as always, except for the lion, goddess, and eagle part, I didn’t quite get that. But, I’m sure Chris Martin has a well-explained story behind those lines as well. What is surprising is that this song’s tune matches John Mayer’s ‘Love is a verb’. I love ‘Everglow’ more because of the lyrics, but, ‘Love is a verb’ was released first. What a coincidence.
